Georges Garden

The overall garden was made up of several different areas with their own unique style and feel.  Top left and centre show the view from the woodland walk into an old ruin which was constructed from yorkstone and had various detailed features within it.  Top right shows the ruin featuring the old yorkstone with its various features, Bradstone Old Town paving was selected due to its aesthetical values and durability the colour was grey-green.  The familty garden adjacent to the house and conservatory featured new paths, patio and circle feature constructed in sunset buff sandstone.  As can be seen the area was thoroughly prepared with a sandy based top soil prior to the laying of the new turf (it is very important when laying new turf to thoroughly water during its infancy).

In case you were wondering the garden was called George's garden due to the Wyvern that was selected as a focal point and christened "George" (see picture on right).  The centre picture shows a gravel garden which formed a link from the family garden into either the ruin or the greehouse and utility area which is positioned behind the gazebo (to the side of the woodland walk).  The little gargoyle had also been christened by several people but to this day his name is still changing.  Should you require any more information please do not hesitate to email us as we would be happy to discuss your requirements with you.

The Wyvern featured is from a range of similar creatures manufactured by Lucas Stone of which The Heritage Landscape Centre is a stockist.
